The Conference Awards as listed below are judged each year during the EEA Annual Conference.
BEST PAPER AWARD - EEA Member
In considering the merits of a paper, the Awards Committee takes into account:
- The value of the paper to members of the Association and the industry;
- The written presentation of the paper;
- The presentation of the paper to the Conference; and
- The author's reply to the discussion of their paper.
The Award prize is a plaque and a cash payment of $500.
BEST PAPER AWARD - Non EEA Member
In considering the merits of a paper, the Awards Committee takes into account:
- The value of the paper to members of the Association and the industry;
- The written presentation of the paper;
- The presentation of the paper to the Conference; and
- The author's reply to the discussion of their paper.
The Award prize is a plaque, a 1 year complimentary membership of the EEA and a cash payment of $250.
BEST PAPER AWARD - Student
In considering the merits of a paper, the Awards Committee takes into account:
- The value of the paper to members of the Association and the industry;
- The written presentation of the paper;
- The presentation of the paper to the Conference; and
- The author's reply to the discussion of their paper.
The Award prize is a plaque, and cash payment of $500.
IET BEST PAPER PRESENTATION AWARD
The IET Best Paper Presentation Award is sponsored by the Institution of Engineering & Technology.
The Award prize is a certificate presented by IET and a cash payment of $500.
PEOPLE'S CHOICE
With the introduction and use of an event app from the 2014 EEA Conference we have been asking our delegates to vote for their best presentation during the conference.
The Award is a plaque and recognition from your peers for your achievement.
BEST TRADE EXHIBITION STAND
Trade Exhibitors are an integral part of the EEA Conference and the Awards judges are always impressed with the quality and amount of interest generated by trade exhibition stands at each year's event.
In judging the Award, consideration is given to the layout of the stand, design flair and creativity, the range of products on display, and the interaction between the stand representatives and the delegates and visitors to the exhibition.
The winning stand is presented with a commemorative plaque.
